Holy Week Services 2026
You are invited to any or all of our Holy Week Services, the most sacred period in the Christian calendar. It commemorates the final days of the life of Jesus Christ and culminates with his resuurection on Easter Sunday.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week when Jesus enters Jerusalem humbly riding a donkey where crowds welcome him with shouts of 'Hosanna' while waving palm branches.
The Maundy Thursday service remembers the final meal that Jesus shared with his disciples before his arrest. The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum meaning 'commandment," referring to Jesus' command to "Love one another as I have loved you."
We will eat together, share Holy Communion and wash each others feet, as Jesus did.
We will continue with a Tenebrae or Service of Darkness, reading the scriptures leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus and end in silence and darkness.
During this special Holy Saturday Evensong service we will join together and symbolically sit Shiva with the disciples as they mourn Jesus' death, witnessing to the pain and grief at the loss of Jesus from the world.

Easter is the central celebration of Christianity - the resurrection of Jesus which symbolizes new life, victory over death, and hope.
Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with trumpet blast, proclaiming with joy, Christ is risen. Alleluia!
